Lucy Furlong ha scritto una poesia sull’Imbolc, tramite cui gli irlandesi al 1° Febbraio festeggiano il culmine dell’inverno, ma come anticipazione della primavera. Per lei, l’ingessatura simboleggerebbe al meglio il rigido laccio col proprio passato. Qualcosa da percepire anche nel clima invernale. Un serpente ad esempio ha le mute. Tramite queste, la vecchia pelle non si farà più “incantare”… Lucy Furlong immagina che noi avanziamo una muta “del passato ad ingessarci”. Qualcosa che avvii la maglia della nuova pelle. Sarà simbolicamente il “decollo” della primavera (coi propri germogli). Alessia posa in piedi, sul giardino d’un tetto, in Alto Adige. Pare che lei abbia il braccio sinistro… “ingessato”! La camicia si percepirebbe come “incantata”. Sul petto, i “grumi” della mano e del gomito “sprofonderanno” (complice il tono nero). Dapprima, essi avrebbero subito “l’incanto” dei capelli sciolti. La camicia aperta a mostrarci la pelle nuda è molto sensuale! Le gambe ed i piedi provano a “serpeggiare”. E’ come se “l’ingessatura” del braccio sinistro lentamente levasse la “muta” della camicia. Molti steli “decollano” dal tetto. Tramite i suoi “incavi”, la camicia virtualmente “si spellerebbe”.

 
Lucy Furlong wrote a poem about the Imbolc, when Irish people on 1° February celebrate the winter peak, but as a preview of the spring. According to her, a plaster cast would symbolize in the better way the rigid lace with own past. Something that we perceive also in the winter climate. A snake for example has the molts. Through these, the old skin will not be more “under enchantment”… Lucy Furlong imagines that we promote a molt “of the past which put us in plaster cast”. Something that launches the knit of a new skin. Symbolically, that will be the “take off” of spring (with the own buds). Alessia poses standing, on the garden of a roof, in Alto Adige. It seems that she has a… “plastered” left arm! The shirt would be perceived as “under enchantment”. On the chest, the “lumps” of the hands and the elbow “will sink” (complicit the black tone). At the beginning, these would have suffered “the enchantment” of hair which go down. The unfastened shirt to show us the naked skin is very sexy! The legs and the feet try to “slither”. In this way the “plaster cast” of the left arm slowly could remove the “molt” of a shirt. Many stalks “take off” by a roof. Through its “notches”, the shirt virtually “would skin itself”.

Il fotografo italiano Norbert Frena nasce nel 1970 a Brunico (BZ). Egli s’è specializzato nel ramo del fashion e dei ritratti. Norbert ha fondato lo Studio “Lichtwerk”, sempre a Brunico.

La poetessa britannica Lucy Furlong vive a Bristol. Nella sua adolescenza, lei faceva la cantante in una band, amando scrivere i brani. Nel 2005 Lucy fu chiamata a tenere uno show molto versatile, per conto di Resonance FM, a Londra. Lei conseguì una laurea in Scrittura creativa, presso la Kingston University. Di recente, Lucy ha pubblicato il proprio libercolo di poesie dal titolo Clew, tramite Hesterglock Press. Lei esteticamente ama molto lo sperimentalismo. Lucy nel 2011 scrisse la poesia dal titolo Knitbone at Imbolc dopo che purtroppo s’era rotta un braccio…

 
The British poetess Lucy Furlong lives in Bristol. When she was a teenager, she was the singer in a band, loving to write the songs. In 2005, Lucy was called to keep a show very eclectic, for the Resonance FM, in London. She took a degree in Creative writing, at Kingston University. Recently, Lucy published her pamphlet of poems called Clew, through Hesterglock Press. She aesthetically loves very much the experimentation.
