Mario Granatiero immagina che una ragazza guardi il mare, a riva, ed assorta fra le braccia che circondano le ginocchia, come una stretta conchiglia. Così, lei vorrà leccarsi le ferite? La ragazza avrebbe ricevuto doni ormai “eclissati”. A volte dobbiamo soffrire per “l’accecamento” delle nostre ambizioni, che alla fine non si realizzano, contro le previsioni più “rosee” o semplicemente una speranza… La fotografia di Carmen ha toni scuri. Lei è in riva all’oceano, parendo a danzare. Soprattutto, le braccia e l’orlo dell’abito s’inarcherebbero “a conchiglia”. In basso a destra, una nube di sabbia inizierebbe ad “eclissare” il dono della grazia, tramite la danza. La prospettiva ci fa percepire che le onde lontane “leccheranno” la riva. Noi non riusciamo a vedere il volto di Carmen. La “conchiglia” fra le braccia e l’orlo del vestito sarebbe a falce di luna crescente. La danza dona una leggiadria che “eclissa” la pienezza (la realizzazione) della corporeità.

Mario Granatiero imagines that a girl watches the sea, onshore, and absorbed between the arms that encircle the knees, like a tight shell. So, will she lick her wounds? The girl would have received gifts by now “eclipsed”. Sometimes we have to suffer by “a blindness” of our ambitions, which finally don’t come true, against the projections more “optimistic” or simply a hope… The photography of Carmen has dark tones. She is on the ocean shore, seeming to dance. Principally, the arms and the hem of the dress would arch “at a shell”. Below on the right, a cloud of sand would begin to “eclipse” the gift of a grace, through the dance. The perspective allows us to perceive that the distant waves “will lick” the shore. We are not able to see the face of Carmen. The “shell” between the arms and the hem of the dress would be at waxing crescent moon. A dance gives a gracefulness which “eclipses” the fullness (the fulfillment) of a corporeality.
