Raymond Carver immagina di svegliarsi al rumore della pioggia, sul vetro della finestra, con accanto un vaso di fiori. Una scena che varrà anche per la sua donna… Lei si toccherà i capelli, ma come se non esistesse più da anni, mediante il profumo sia dolce sia “vecchio” del caffè. O forse, gli innamorati farebbero meglio a fermare il tempo, dal letto, evitando d’alzarsi per la colazione. La fotografia di Sarah è in bianconero. Pare che lei posi in una terrazza, “rumorosa” per la prospettiva schiacciata sul mare mosso. A sinistra, c’è la pianta dal vaso sulla colonna. Sarah ha i capelli lunghi e ricci, che “incappucciano” il mezzobusto. Lì, il bianconero ci spinge a percepire un cesto “invecchiato” dai vimini. Sarà nell’insieme il “cappuccino” del mare mosso… “all’incappucciato” per lo sguardo “severo”. Il bianconero qui toglie la fragranza della bellezza. O meglio, pare che il dolce ma pesante mare s’alzi sino a “sorseggiare”… la costa, avente una ringhiera “a dentiera”. E’ una fotografia dagli elementi esteticamente più schiaccianti che traspiranti.

Raymond Carver imagines his awakening at the noise of rain, on the glass window, having near him a flower pot. A scene that will function also for his woman… She will touch her hair, however as if she was no longer existing for years, through a scent both sweet and “old” of the coffee. Or rather, a couple in love would better stop time, from the bed, avoiding getting up for the breakfast. The Sarah’s photography is in black and white. It seems that she poses on a terrace, “noisy” for the perspective squashed on the rough sea. On the left, there is the plant from a pot on the column. Sarah has long and curly hair, which “put a hood” on the head and shoulders. There, the black and white leads us to perceive a basket “aged” by the wicker. Will that be overall a “cappuccino” of the rough sea… “putting a hood” on itself for a “stern” look. The black and white here takes off the fragrance of beauty. Or rather, it seems that the sweet but heavy sea raises until it “sip”… the coast, having a railing “at dental plate”. This is a photography where the elements aesthetically are more squashing than transpiring.

The photographer Ilaria Bolohan was born in Romania. When she was 16 years old, she began to work as model. In the same time, in Italy Ilaria also becomes actress and anchorwoman. In the last years, she moved both into the even management and into the photography. Ilaria has a degree in Literature and philosophy – Ideation and production for the scene, the screen, the new media.
