Carducci immagina che dai rami al sole pendano le arpe dei bardi, mentre l’usignolo canterà d’amore dentro agli scudi. Più realisticamente, i fanciulli “sbirceranno” con gli occhi sotto i capelli, dorati e sparsi. In tale fotografia, c’è il mezzobusto dell’attrice Valentina, contro lo sfondo dalla luce sovraesposta. Si percepisce uno “scudo” della scollatura. Sul fianco destro, i lunghi capelli “arpeggeranno”, grazie ai colpi di luce dorata. Il risvolto del vestito quasi si sarebbe “appollaiato” sulla spalla sinistra, in quanto a far leva sul volto, un po’ inclinato. Due ciocche cadono “a note”, entro lo “scudo” della scollatura, sul “pentagramma” della clavicola.
