Per Emily Grosholz, la curva d’un argine, la cresta d’una collina oppure il cirro avranno per “miniatura” una collana, che linearizzi il passaggio da qualche parte nel ricordo d’un vissuto personale. Il fermaglio unito alla perla potrebbe trattenere il cielo aperto sul muro d’un palazzo, partendo dal grigio metallizzato. Piace ricordare soprattutto le belle vacanze, in luoghi dove forse non torneremo. Greta ha posato per una fotografia in bianconero. Noi la vediamo inquadrata al mezzobusto. Il braccio destro virtualmente “linearizza” il petto, verso la cresta “transeunte” d’un aquilone (complice la triangolazione complessiva). In alto si percepisce una “nuvola” di luce. Greta ha uno sguardo assai “fiero”, che trattiene il volto in aperto contrasto col triangolo d’emergenza (per transitorietà) dal braccio al petto. Qualcosa che superi persino la linea sexy del vestito attillato. Greta ha una collana corta a perline, che funge da “argine in miniatura” per la “nube” in alto. Nessuno sa cosa lei pensi, di preciso; ma tutta la sua posa “cavalca” la vitalità, con vigilanza.

According to Emily Grosholz, the curve of a bank, the crest of a hill or the cirrus will have a necklace as their “miniature”, which linearizes the passage somewhere in the memory of a personal living. A clasp joined at a pearl could hold the open sky on the wall of a building, starting from the metallic grey. We like remembering principally the beautiful holidays, in places where maybe we will never return. Greta posed for a photography in black and white. We see her framed through the head and shoulders. The right arm virtually “linearizes” the chest, into the “fleeting” crest of a kite (complicit the total triangulation). Above we perceive a “cloud” of light. Greta has a gaze very “proud”, which holds the face in stark contrast with the warning triangle (by a transitoriness) from the arm to the chest. Something that overtakes even the sexy silhouette of the fitted dress. Greta has a short necklace with beads, that functions as “a bank in miniature” for the “cloud” above. Nobody knows what she is thinking, precisely; but her pose entirely “rides” the vitality, with a watchfulness.
