Il folletto è anello di batticuore – A sprite is ring of palpitations

Carrieri imagines that Turkish blue functions as “sprite” for the ultramarine. So, aesthetically an orientalism will be important. That one, after its importation, could receive the new denomination of turquoise, as palpitations of the sky blue. Perhaps for us it’s important that we wear joyfully the preciousness. Instead, in the East the turquoise virtually melts the verdant with the sky blue, and from the ground to the spirit. Lucrezia was framed standing, nestled between the trunks of a tree. The wood has an atmosphere principally verdant. The model wears a dress in sky blue tone. Somebody will imagine Lucrezia like a nymph of the woods, mentioning the Greek mythology. On the background the river has the water vividly blue; this one instills in the dress more naturalness. The right arm tries to “slither” along a trunk. The dress has a “whirlpool”, caused by the step of the leg, against the outflow of the folds. Something that we perceive halfway between a ring and the palpitations. In fact Lucrezia hangs on to the trunks; but her vitality could “vanish”, as the same of a sprite.
