Colum McCann ci descrive una donna che, avendo fretta, si dà una spazzolata ai denti, un velo di trucco, un tratto di eyeliner, un tocco di rossetto. Lei si ferma a riflettere solo innanzi all’armadio, che evidentemente è più “denso” di varietà. La donna sceglierà l’intimo beige, e poi l’abito a trapezio senza maniche in tono acquamarina, con un motivo “a crostaceo”. Nell’insieme, a noi parrà di percepirvi una “battigia”! Una rete da pesca può risalire “a trapezio”. Ma quanto il gamberetto avrà la sinuosità d’un… eyeliner? Jasmine è stata inquadrata al suo mezzobusto. Lei porta una maglietta beige, molto spartana (mancandovi la serigrafia). Il nostro sguardo può cadere sul rossetto. Jasmine ha piegato lievemente il volto, verso sinistra, e consentendo ai capelli d’attorniarla quasi… “a gamberetto”. Le braccia si stringono sui fianchi, a configurare un trapezio del busto. Qui la clavicola si percepisce come uno “scoglio”, sulla “battigia” della maglietta in beige. Il girocollo sarà alzato, sulla “rete da pesca” del volto, tramite il “verricello” del naso e “svelando” il “gambero rosso” della bocca. In questo scatto, ci pare che le luci sia “spazzolino” la pelle (soprattutto intorno all’occhio destro), sia “indugino” a prendere una… “maniglia” delle ciocche (oltre le orecchie).

Colum McCann describes to us a woman who, in a rush, rubs the toothbrush, and then uses a little swish of makeup, a very few of eyeliner and a dab of lipstick. She stops, favouring her reflection, only in front of the wardrobe, that evidently is “thicker” for its variety. The woman will choose the beige undergarments, and then an A-line dress without sleeves, in aqua and green tone, with a “shellfish” motif. Altogether, that will seem to us in the perception of a “shoreline”! A fishing net can reemerge “in a trapezoid”. But how much would the shrimp have the sinuosity of an… eyeliner? Jasmine was framed through her head and shoulders. She wears a beige t-shirt, very “austere” (because there the silkscreen is lacking). Our gaze can fall on the lipstick. Jasmine slightly bent the face, into the left, and allowing the hair to surround her almost… “as a shrimp”. The arms move close together on the sides, so configuring a trapezoid of the bust. Here the clavicle is perceived like a “rock”, on the “shoreline” of a t-shirt in beige. The crew neck will be raised, on a “fishing net” of the face, through a “winch” of the nose and “unveiling” a “red shrimp” of the mouth. In this shoot, it seems to us that the lights both are “brushing” the skin (principally around the right eye), and are “hesitating” to take a… “handle” of the locks (beyond the ears).

Il fotografo Diego (Gyeongdae) Seo nasce in Corea del Sud. Egli studiò principalmente fashion design. Trasferitosi a Firenze, Diego ha sempre cercato l’interdisciplinarità fra le arti. Qualcosa che gli poté ispirare il progetto “Material Veteran”, incentrato sul vintage ed il remake, anche per la moda sportiva.

The photographer Diego (Gyeongdae) Seo was born in South Korea. He principally studied fashion design. Moved to Florence, Diego always searched for the interdisciplinary arts. Something that could inspire him the “Material Veteran” project, based on the vintage and the remake, also about the sportswear.
