Coleridge immagina che il vascello del vecchio marinaio s’avvicini alla scialuppa d’un eremita nel bosco. In realtà, non ci sarebbe più il favorevole approdo delle luci segnaletiche. Principalmente, il vascello mostra gli assi contorti e le vele consunte (dopo alcune tempeste). Per l’eremita, sarà qualcosa che nel suo bosco nessuno avrebbe mai potuto vedere, se non per i bruni “scheletri” delle foglie, sopra le “onde” d’un ruscello. Pare che Alina posi seduta sul tronco d’una mangrovia, nella spiaggia esotica. Più chiaramente, sullo sfondo una canoa biancorossa è arenata, e forse in disuso, sotto la roccia. In alto, la fotografia ci esibisce una chioma quasi d’edera. Essa per l’eremita di Coleridge “invecchierebbe” comunque, sotto il peso della neve, nel suo bosco. In questo scatto, i tronchi e le rocce s’uniscono intrecciando una scialuppa barcollante. Qualcosa che però si spiaggi, con la sabbia a sinistra più “franosa” che ondeggiante. E’ una fotografia comunque pesante da percepire, anche tramite una vegetazione fittissima. Alina pare capace di continuare a remare. Però scomparirebbe una canoa dalle righe biancorosse a segnavia…

Coleridge imagines that the vessel of an old sailor moves close to the lifeboat of a hermit in the forest. Really, there a positive docking of the signal lights would be no more. Principally, the vessel shows the deformed axes and the shabby sails (after some storms). According to the hermit, that will be something in his forest impossible to be seen for everyone, except about the dark brown “skeletons” of the leaves, over the “waves” of a brook. It seems that Alina poses sitting on the log of a mangrove, in the exotic beach. More clearly, on the background a red and white canoe is beached, and maybe in disuse, under the rock. Above, the photography shows to us a foliage almost of ivy. This one according to the hermit of Coleridge however “would get old”, under the weight of snow, in its forest. In this shoot, the logs and the rocks are united weaving a wobbly lifeboat. Something that however is beached, with the sand on the left more “subject to landslides” than fluctuating. It is a photography however heavy to be perceived, also through a very thick vegetation. Alina seems able to continue to row. However a canoe striped in red and white would disappear from its trail sign…
