La linguetta a bancale d’una scritta – A tab on the pallet of writing

Lei guarda in alto.

Nowadays, by the packaging we guarantee that the goods, the foodstuffs and the industrial products are preserved, before we can distribute them to people. According to philosopher Senaldi, that is a situation where a strategy of communication is necessary. On the packaging more directions appear: those strictly technical (as for the barcodes), those functional (which allow us to know the ingredients, the expiration dates, the manufacturing plants etc…), those symbolic (principally through the brands). Senaldi moreover highlighted another subdivision. The type of a packaging would be tertiary (when a pallet is useful to carry many boxes, from the same product), secondary (if the box has inside itself more models, about the same product), primary (by the covering of a single product). Over the Kelsey’s head, a writing appears. We read about a brand, which proposes food only by essential ingredients. New York City, really big, however allows us to “taste” it through the small services: a subway line or a swim in Hudson river… The writing also mentions a packaging. Curiously, over the left shoulder of Kelsey a sort of “tab” appears. She watches above. The body will be perceived on its “forklift truck”. The “tab” would have to unload a “pallet” of the writing.

Nota biografica sull’artista recensita – Biographical sketch about the artist:

The fashion stylist Kelsey Panicco, in her shutter release, was born in Pittsburgh (U.S.A.). Kelsey studied at Fashion Institute of Technology. On Maniac Magazine, she was an editorial stylist on behalf of many actresses (as Samira Wiley, Nikki Reed, Maggie Grace). Aesthetically, according to Kelsey a dress has to intrigue us because we realize that there we will endure.
