Per il filosofo Gaston Bachelard, durante l’infanzia si percepirebbe il mondo tramite gli odori, anziché la visione. Persi nel “sogno” della vita appena nata, senza “ridestarlo” col razionalismo (degli adulti), letteralmente “s’assapora” la profondità. La spensieratezza del bambino si percepisce “chiudendo gli occhi” sui problemi del mondo. Nella libido dell’inconscio, i pensieri paiono “assaporare” la logica della loro concatenazione. L’odore si percepisce sempre in profondità. La vista ci sembra molto più direzionale. Emiliane Kerhoas scrive che la gomma odorosa dei giorni remoti è un Paradiso d’infanzia. Il lattice che cola dal tronco favorisce l’espansione della vitalità, soprattutto tra i frutti, in estate. Julia è inquadrata nella piccola radura d’un bosco. Le anse del ruscello si percepirebbero in via “lattiginosa”, bilanciandone il peso visivo, tramite la corona degli “stendardi”, su un abito comunque giallo-limone. Il cielo pare ad espandersi, nella “lotta” fra il pomeriggio ed il tramonto. La corona degli stendardi qui forse… “sgommerebbe”, complice la “sterzata” delle mani. Lo “spiazzo” giallo-limone avrà un bordo più concavo che romboidale. Sullo sfondo, alcune piante “assaporerebbero” l’intero bosco, nella “spora” della loro vitalità, a confermare la percezione “lattiginosa” e “gommosa” dell’abito.

 
According to philosopher Gaston Bachelard, in the childhood we would perceive the world through smells, instead of view. Lost in the “dream” of life just born, without reawaken this one with a rationalism (from the adults), literally “we savour” the depth. The carefreeness of a kid is perceived “closing the eyes” on the world’s problems. In the libido of unconscious, thoughts seem “savour” the logic of their concatenation. A smell is always perceived in depth. The view seems to us much more directional. Emiliane Kerhoas writes that the smelling rubber of remote days is a Paradise of childhood. The latex which pours slowly from a log favours the expansion of vitality, principally between the fruits, in summer. Julia is framed in the little clearing of a wood. The meanders of a stream would be perceived in a “latex-producing” way, balancing its visual weight, through a crown of “standards”, on a dress however lemon yellow. The sky seems expanding, in the “fight” between the afternoon and the sunset. The crown of standards here maybe… “would screech of tyres”, complicit a “steer” of hands. The lemon yellow “open space” will have a border more concave than rhomboidal. On the background, some plants “would savour” the entire wood, in the “spore” of their vitality, so confirming a perception “latex-producing” and “gummy” of the dress.

La modella Julia Charlotte De Rossi è per metà italiana e per l’altra metà islandese. Lei ha 19 anni, in attesa di finire il Liceo per continuare gli studi nel campo cinematografico o musicale. Julia attualmente vive in Islanda, paese che considera bello ma… “freddino”. Nei suoi progetti, c’è il ritorno in Italia. Nel 2011, Julia cominciò a lavorare come modella per Elite Iceland. Le interessa il mondo dello spettacolo (che conosce bene, avendo per madre una cantante lirica).
The model Julia Charlotte De Rossi is for one half Italian, and for the other half Icelander. She is 19 years old, looking forward to finish the high school, to go on studying in cinematographic or musical field. Actually Julia lives in Iceland, a country that she considers nice but… “a little cold”. In her projects, there’s a return in Italy. In 2011, Julia began to work as model for Elite Iceland. She is interested in the show business (that she knows well, having an opera singer for mother).

 
Il fotografo Thormar Vignir Gunnarsson è islandese. Egli lavora a Reykjavik. Già da bambino, Thormar aveva sempre una fotocamera in mano. Egli studiò presso la Reykjavik Fashion Academy. Thormar si specializzò in fotografia pubblicitaria e di moda. Ora egli ha aperto un suo studio, ma lavora anche per il giornale islandese DV.
The photographer Thormar Vignir Gunnarsson is Icelander. He works in Reykjavik. Even when he was a kid, Thormar always had a camera in his hands. He studied at Reykjavik Fashion Academy. Thormar became specialized in advertising and fashion photography. Now he has opened an own studio, but he also works for the Icelander newspaper DV.
