Per il poeta Pietro Spataro, il falegname avrà una borsa nera, da cui “pescare” le pinze, le tenaglie, i chiodi, il martello ecc… Ciascun arnese sarebbe risalito solo lentamente alle mani del bambino. La borsa nera simboleggiava dunque la “curiosità” dell’inesperto, contro la dimestichezza dell’adulto. In alcuni vangeli, il “mistero” del Cristianesimo si rivelerebbe anche tramite la “dedizione” di Gesù a Dio, ad esempio imparando il lavoro del falegname, da Giuseppe. Camille è inquadrata in strada. La giacca lasciata sopra le braccia fa “indietreggiare” la canottiera. Nel contempo, però, la borsa nera risalirebbe verso di noi. La cinghia per la tracolla quasi pare “meccanica”, mostrando i denti. Una mano s’attaccherebbe come “un grande chiodo” (sulla tasca), l’altra avrebbe le dita “avvitanti”. Il volto di Camille s’abbassa, percependosi così nella “dedizione” all’intimità.

A belt for the shoulder bag almost seems “mechanical”, showing the teeth. One hand would be attached like “a big nail” (on the pocket), the other hand would have “screwing” fingers. The Camille’s face is lowered, so to be perceived in the “devotion” to an intimacy.
