Sappiamo che la cover è la reinterpretazione d’un brano musicale, e non da parte del suo autore in origine. Qualcosa che si distingua sia “dall’irregolare” plagio, sia dal banale remake. Per il filosofo Senaldi, già platonicamente accade che l’Uno non può stare senza il molteplice. Qualcosa che valga in via dialettica. L’Uno si darà anche non essendo il molteplice, per cui in tale differenziazione si percepirà una serie infinita di possibilità (solo in apparenza ignote, rispetto alla “chiarezza” universale dell’essenza). Per Senaldi, lo stesso vale nella cover migliore. Essa “scaverà e farà riemergere” le infinite possibilità d’un brano già inciso. Jessie giace in mezzo alla strada. Sullo sfondo, da un murales noi riconosciamo i volti degli attori Uma Thurman, Leonardo Di Caprio, Keanu Reeves. Jessie avrebbe le calze quasi hollywoodiane, tramite le stelle, già care alla Walk of Fame. Pare che lei sia stata investita. Almeno il telefonino perso dalla mano si bilancerebbe visivamente col fanale acceso. C’è insomma la cover degli attori, dal loro murales, che alla fine si farà “scavare” nel suo ignoto, tramite le “stelline” della persona svenuta, dopo l’investimento. Noi valutiamo la costruzione ad arco, dal parchimetro alla mano destra (passando per il fanale acceso, le ginocchia ed il telefonino). E’ virtualmente l’incisione d’un disco, dove il brano riemergerà solo oscuramente, “investito” dal nostro orecchio. Là il parcometro fungerebbe da… “testina”.

At least the phone out of the hand would be visually balanced with the headlight. So there’s the cover of the actors, from their wall painting, that finally will be “dug” on its unknown, through the “little stars” of person in a faint, after he was run over. We consider the construction in arch, from the parking meter to the right hand (passing for the headlight, the knees and the phone). That’s virtually as recording a disc, where the song will reemerge only nebulously, “run over” by our ear. There the parking meter would function as… “a needle”.

Nel 2006 lei entrò nella punk rock band tutta al femminile Shut Up Stella, scritturata da Epic Records. Nel 2008 Jessica pubblicò due canzoni da solista, Trash me ed Outsider, poi diffuse da canale MTV, tramite il reality-show The Hills. Nel 2010 si compì il nuovo progetto Jessie and The Boys. Coinvolti gli amici musicisti, Jessica col singolo Push It raggiunse il 7° posto nella Billboard Dance Chart. Poi il progetto Jessie and The Boys poté aprire un concerto di Britney Spears, e partecipò all’Identity Festival 2011. Nel 2013 Jessica stipulò un contratto con la Virgin Records. Nel 2014 lei debuttò a cantare col nuovo pseudonimo di Eden Xo.

Engaging some musician friends, Jessica with the single Push It peaked the No. 7 on Billboard Dance Chart. Then the project Jessie and The Boys was one of the opening acts during a Britney Spears’ concert, and took part at Identity Festival 2011. In 2013 Jessica signed a contract with Virgin Records. In 2014 she began to sing with the new pseudonym Eden Xo.
