Tramite l’orogenesi, accade che si formino le catene montuose. Dai vulcani, in particolare, fuoriesce la materia incandescente del nucleo terrestre. Soprattutto le catene montuose acquistano la bellezza, slanciandosi verso il Cielo, quasi spiritualmente. La cristallizzazione delle pietre evapora, “appesantendo” l’aria, come se questa “s’imbiancasse”. Esteticamente, percepiamo tutta l’alterezza della trasparenza spirituale. Un vulcano certo è prominente, rispetto alla piana intorno. Il filosofo Francesco Tomatis ricorda che così la terra diviene sul serio “madre”. L’orogenesi ed il vulcanismo letteralmente “partorirebbero” la crosta. La lava uscirebbe dal “grembo” del nucleo terrestre, e le catene montuose ne “ritaglierebbero” il cordone ombelicale. Per Francesco Tomatis, sarà “un’esplosione” della metafisica. Tramite l’orogenesi ed il vulcanismo, la terra ascende in Cielo col suo “corpo” materiale. Lo scatto di Hulda ci mostra un tipico paesaggio dell’Islanda. Questa s’è formata tramite la fuoriuscita di magma, da una dorsale atlantica. L’Islanda nel contempo ha più ghiacciai, e non dista molto dal Circolo Polare Artico. Essa si percepirà entro un territorio sia caldo sia freddo. In Islanda, l’alterezza dei monti innevati nascerebbe dall’esplosione vulcanica. E’ la percezione d’una terra “madre”. Nello scatto di Hulda, la modella Svava ha l’addome virtualmente “imbottito”, movendosi al vento. Sarà facile percepirlo nel “grembo” di se stesso. In primo piano, noi vediamo due valigie, ravvicinate fra di loro. La modella Svava avrà terminato di viaggiare? Certo le valigie si percepiranno nel proprio imbottirsi di vestiti. Incastonato fra quelle, riconosciamo un cappello. Nell’insieme, immaginiamo la sinestesia delle valigie, le quali tanto potrebbero guardare (da una macchina fotografica) quanto suonare (da una fisarmonica). Il cappello fungerebbe rispettivamente da zoom o da mantice. Sullo sfondo, il cielo islandese è “imbottito” dalle nuvole. Il vestito sembra allargarsi, come lo zoom od il mantice delle due valigie. La colorazione naturalmente bruna del basalto sarebbe stata portata anche in aria, da Hulda. La modella Svava avrebbe interrotto il suo viaggio. Le valigie si vedono abbandonate a terra. Tutto il caldo vitalismo del viaggio (scegliendo di rinunciare all’ambiente quotidiano) alla fine si raffredderebbe. Noi percepiremo Svava a rivendicare, con alterezza, la sua terra d’origine (natia)?

Through the horogenesis, it happens that mountain ranges form themselves. From the volcanos, in particular, incandescent substance of Earth’s core pours out. Principally the mountain ranges obtain the beauty, soared into the heaven of heavens, almost in a spiritual way. The crystallization of stones evaporates, “making heavy” the air, on its “withewashing”. Aesthetically, we perceive all boldness of spiritual transparency. Certainly a volcano is prominent, relative to around level ground. Here philosopher Francesco Tomatis remembers to us how Earth really becomes “mother”. The horogenesis and the volcanism literally “generate” a plate. The lava would exit by “womb” of terrestrial core, and mountain ranges would “cut” its umbilical cord. For Francesco Tomatis, it will be “an explosion” of metaphysics. Through the horogenesis and the volcanism, earth ascends to heaven of heavens, with its material “body”. The Hulda’s shoot shows us a typical landscape on Iceland. That was originated through a magma’s pouring out, from an atlantic ridge. Iceland in the same time has many glaciers, and it isn’t so distant from Arctic Circle. That will be perceived inside a tract both warm and cold. In Iceland, the boldness of mountains covered by snow would be born from volcanic explosion. That will be the perception about a “mother” Earth. In Hulda’s shoot, model Svava has the abdomen virtually “padded”, moved by wind. Easily we will perceive it “on womb” of itself. In the close-up, we see two suitcases, very close each other. Will model Svava have finished to travel? Certainly the suitcases will be perceived in their padding of clothes. Nestled between those, we recognise a hat. Totally, we imagine the synesthesia of suitcases, which both could watch (from a camera) and play (from an accordion). The hat would function respectively as zoom or bellows. On the background, icelander sky is “padded” by clouds. The dress seems stretched, as the zoom or the bellows in two suitcases. The coloration naturally dark brown of basalt would have brought also in the air, by Hulda. Model Svava would have interrupted her travel. We see that suitcases are thrown over the ground. All the warm vitalism in travelling (choosing to give family environment up) finally would cool off. We will perceive Svava when she reaffirms, with boldness, her original (native?) land.

La fotografa islandese Hulda Vigdisardottir ha 19 anni, vive a Reykjavik. Lei ha studiato lingue e anche storia. Nel tempo libero, Hulda posa come modella, ma aspira a diventare una fotografa professionista. Lei ama la percezione contrastante del paesaggio islandese, dove si vedono i geysers e l’aridità, i vulcani fra i ghiacciai, le vette lungo l’oceano ecc… Hulda “pensa” che una simile “magia” derivi dai tradizionali huldufolk: gli elfi che abiterebbero le rocce, le montagne e le colline. Qualcosa che dovrebbe “contagiare” la brillantezza del cielo islandese.

The icelander photographer Hulda Vigdisardottir is 19 years old, lives in Reykjavik. She has studied languages and history. In the free time, Hulda lays as model, but aspiring to become a professional photographer. She loves the contrasting perception of icelander landscape, where we can see the geysers and the aridity, the volcanos between the glaciers, the peaks along the ocean etc… Hulda “thinks” that a similar “magic” derives from the traditional huldufolk: the elves living in rocks, mountains and hills. Something that should “permeate” the shining of icelander sky.
