La chicseminazione – The chicsemination

Noi li immagineremo come clonati.

In 1857, physiologist Claude Bernard locates a possible internal surrounding, in body of living being. Blood circulation and lymphatic system should constitute it. Both of them allow the organism to protect itself, from variations (whether physical or chemical) which can happen in exterior surrounding. Blood circulation and lymphatic system on the facts assure the continuity (constancy) of living process. According to Bernard, internal surrounding allows cellular molecules really to harmonize with variations (whether physical or chemical) of the world. Blood has to circulate, while lymph is pumped by muscles (which dilate or contract themselves). The harmonizing between cellular molecules and surrounding variations (from exterior world) happens in several ways. There’s the one latent, typical of seeds, when life for a certain period seems only potential (in state of “inertia”). The harmonizing of floating type belongs to animals which are in hibernation. Waking again, they should have almost another life. The harmonizing of constant type happens in organism more evolved, as men. Here, the vitality will arrive to “hinder” variations (whether physical or chemical) of its exterior surrounding, equalizing itself. Pino Gomes frames Xenia “cutting” her head. We will have the aesthetic impression that face could “go up again”, even externally. In parallel, low, border of photography should become “touched”, through nail of right index finger. Symbolically, it seems that now glamour “communication” (from Xenia to us) is going to “cut itself”. The necklace should trace an oval, lengthened on major axis and flat in minor axis. For us, is enough seeing it linked with hairs. It seems that oval can “clone”, where minor axis becomes “flattened”. The size of face should balance that of “wedged” (between the pearls) dress. We will imagine it as cloned. The right hand will not have more the “strength” to point to us glamour presence of Xenia. It seems scattering itself. Loose hairs in the middle of pseudo-oval will be perceived as “lymphatic”. Some leaves should have a shape more or less similar… In Xenia face, mouth is open, while eyes should become “closed” by shades. It seems she passes a moment of ecstasy, virtually “dividing in two part herself”, in her body transfiguration. Would the photography of Pino Gomes have rebuilt an internal surrounding of Xenia (recovering the ideas of Bernard)? It seems that glamour of model is just “latent”, almost in the “seed” of itself, virtually “thrown” at us (through the open palm, on right hand), who are called to harmonize its beginning ecstasy.
