Red Foley, nel testo d’una sua canzone, scrisse che ci fu una notte in cui aveva l’occasione per uscire con una donna, salvo prima entrare in un locale, guardare il turbinio del flipper e scuoterlo per tre partite, giusto il tempo di dimenticarsi l’impegno galante! Giulia posa per una fotografia in bianconero. In specie, lei quasi si siede sulla barriera jersey, in mezzo alla strada cittadina. Qualcosa da percepire come la classica aletta d’un pinball… Pare che Giulia abbia uno sguardo un po’ “contrariato”, forse puntando l’arrivo da lei di qualcuno! Quanto la giacca, tramite le “alette” d’una cintura in vita, respingerebbe chiudendosi la “cordialità” della mano che saluti? Appare la forma “a bersaglio” del taschino. Dietro a Giulia, un uomo avrà rinunciato a “guardarla”, forse respinto dalla barriera jersey. Più astrattamente, due teste ci mostrano la stessa grandezza d’una pallina da flipper, rispetto al piano inclinato della modella in posa. Forse non sarà l’angolo della molla che prepari il lancio iniziale. Certo Giulia ha uno sguardo poco incline al rendersi disponibile.

Red Foley, in the lyrics of an own song, wrote that there was a night when he had the opportunity to go out with a woman, but then he entered in a club, watching the whirl of a pinball and shaking this one for three games, just long enough to forget his gallant obligation! Giulia poses for a photography in black and white. Especially, she almost is sitting on a Jersey barrier, in the middle of a city street. Something that we perceive like the classic flipper of a pinball… It seems that Giulia has a gaze a bit “disgruntled”, maybe pointing somebody who wants to arrive to her! How much would the jacket, through the “flippers” of a waist belt, reject by its closing the “cordiality” of a greeting hand? There, a small pocket in the shape “of a target” appears. Behind Giulia, a man would have given up to “watch her”, perhaps because he was driven back by the Jersey barrier. More abstractly, two heads show to us the same size of a ball for pinball, respect the inclined plane of the posing model. Perhaps, there we will not find the corner with a spring for the starting ball shooter. Certainly Giulia has a gaze disinclined to make herself available.
