De Nerval scrive che tutte le acque sono dolci per gli Egizi; ma in particolare quelle attinte dal fiume, dove emana il dio Osiride. Bachelard ricostruisce la fenomenologia del caso. Osiride fu annegato dal fratello Seth, presso una bocca del Nilo, divenendo poi il dio dell’oltretomba. Bachelard scrive che un fiume va percepito per la maggiore dalla sua sorgente, avendo un flusso con una direzione. E’ qualcosa che si può assimilare alla fondazione d’un regno. Conosciamo la tradizione per cui la dea Iside, sorella di Osiride, stanca di remare sciolse il suo velo in testa, inventando così la vela. Francesca posa in piedi, e l’ambiente attorno a lei è arido. Si percepiscono le stratificazioni della terra, quasi nel loro ondeggiamento. Francesca indossa per la maggiore toni fra il blu ed il celeste. Lontano, ci sembra che l’avvallamento abbia una forma piramidale. Nel vestito quasi “acquatico” di Francesca, la gonna attingerebbe ad una cascata di motivi pseudo-floreali. Là, basta vedere l’orlo nel suo triangolarsi, oltre la gamba destra. Alla fine, la gonna proverà a “veleggiare”.

De Nerval writes that all the waters are sweet for ancient Egyptian; but in particular those drawn by a river, where god Osiris. Bachelard here retraces the useful phenomenology. Osiris was drowned by his brother Seth, at a Nile’s mouth, then becoming the god of afterlife. Bachelard writes that a river has to be perceived principally by its spring, having a flow with a direction. That’s something that we can assimilate to the constitution of a kingdom. We know the tradition through which Isis goddess, sister of Osiris, tired of rowing, lifted the veil of the head, so inventing the sailing. Francesca poses standing, and the surrounding around her is arid. We perceive the stratifications of the ground, almost in their undulation. Francesca wears principally tones between the blue and the sky blue. Faraway, it seems to us that the depression has a pyramidal shape. In the dress almost “aquatic” of Francesca, the skirt would draw from a waterfall of a pseudo-floral decoration. There, it’s enough to see the edge on its triangulation, beyond the right leg. Finally, the skirt will try to “sail along”.
