Per il filosofo Bachelard, il fuoco rappresenterebbe il primo sogno ad occhi aperti che ci consenta il riposo in noi stessi. Conosciamo il mito greco di Prometeo. Egli rubò il fuoco a Zeus, consentendo così agli uomini di riscaldarsi e cuocere (che sono bisogni del tutto primari). Il caminetto favorisce il riposo, accostandovi il divano o la poltrona. La fiamma si percepisce come un’illuminazione che fluttua: lo stesso accade per i pensieri sognanti. Per Bachelard, innanzi al focolare noi terremo i gomiti sulle ginocchia, e la testa fra le mani. C’è un rannicchiarsi, in quanto sognando i pensieri sprofondano nella loro intimità. Il focolare trasmette un benessere, tramite una contemplazione non solo intellettualistica. Francesca è stata inquadrata facendo lo yoga. Lei abbassa la testa virtualmente sino all’anca, allarga le gambe e quasi allinea in verticale le braccia. Nel complesso sembra la raffigurazione d’un metronomo. Nel corpo “piramidale”, ci saranno il braccio destro “a tacche” e quello sinistro “a lancetta”, con in mezzo la testa “a peso”. Francesca posa contro una scogliera. Questa è scavata orizzontalmente, annerendosi un poco. Qualcosa da percepire come un caminetto? Sembra che un riflesso solare “ingiallisca” la pietra, alla nostra sinistra. Là, si potrà riconfigurare una “fiammella”. Nello yoga è importante ritmare la propria vitalità. Il riflesso solare si percepisce fluttuando, complici le rocce al loro saliscendi.

According to philosopher Bachelard, the fire would represent the first reverie that allows us to relax with ourselves. We know the Greek myth of Prometheus.
