Lo zoom a pagaia inebriante – The zoom as inebriating paddle

According to Flusser, a camera is a complex toy on its structure, but very easy to be used. Someone can shoot in a way aesthetically right even ignoring the underlying mechanism inside the only button that we have to push. An unskilled photographer literally is inebriated by the facility of an automation. He’s “devoured” by the shoots. These will have an own redundancy. According to Flusser, an unskilled photographer becomes a “self-timer” already inside him. That’s a conclusion very ironical. The real photographer instead will have to recombine the elements of a reality able to be framed, like a chessplayer when he has to make his move. Antonia is in the city, between the rails and the lanes for public bus. She has a shoulder strap for a camera. The chubby cheeks, from a “redundant” smile, seem to us “inebriated” by a shirt calm on its “undulation”. The hands support the shoulder strap like when we paddle. The shirt has an aquatic tone. The entire photography is perceived through a resolution generally “inebriating”. The “waters” of a shirt perhaps will have an outflow, because they are “devoured” by the lens. We don’t know if Antonia is a professional or unskilled photographer…
