Poet Zanzotto hopes that the good manners, the scattered statements, the codes and the sweetness “are impregnated” in the leafy branches, in which the “putrescence” would loom large, from their shadows. How much will the language (spoken or gestural) of everyday life be “presumptuous” or false by opportunism? According to Zanzotto, “the reins” of a code have to flow, “untying” the “ball of yarn” of the smoochies. However the phantasmagoria is useless. Through the leafy branches, the trees increase as in their tangle… as in their adumbrating! That will be the symbolism of a language (spoken or gestural) essentially “frayed”, and starting by our obligation to remember it. Zanzotto imagines that through the leafy branches, a wood “bows”: against both the “presumption” of a conceptualism and the “cajolements” by a songbook. We should better “impregnate” a language in “a shadow” of its remembering. The international model Summer is socially active in the field of environmentalism. On the armchair moved inside a wood, she seems to flop down. A sphere, “packaged” through the white “fraying”, has a surface “at cells”. It poses over a suitcase, reddish like many leaves fallen down. Another sphere, sliced “into wedges”, is hanging on a cable, over the head of Summer. So she loses the good manners in composed sitting. There’s a sphere “at cells” like a cabbage, and “frayed” into own “sauerkrauts”. Above, a “Sun” (inside the yellow of autumn) will be sliced, finally gaining the shadows. A suitcase, that we “state” when we are “scattered” in the world (at the customs), now becomes “putrefactive”, for the chromatic confusion with the fallen leaves. Summer would assume the pose of somebody who bows to “a frayed tangle” of the leafy branches in a wood. Here an hypothetical globe would have “untied the ball of yarn” about every destination we would have reached “as a source of our pride”. Perhaps, for us travelling very far away is useless, if we want to find the peacefulness. The numerous woods, with their silences, ask our respect, about the environmentalism.
